Laura DuPriest, is an author, television personality, former international fashion model and respected beauty expert with 3 decades of experience in the highly competitive salon and day spa industry. Laura has authored two beauty books for Random House and has been featured in Oxygen, SELF, Woman's World, Modern Salon, Day Spa, and Vegetarian Times magazines. Her PBS Special, "Natural Beauty, Salon Secrets at Home", was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2003 and her accompanying book, Natural Beauty was the No. 1 top selling beauty book on Amazon.com at its launch.

She offers her expertise to the film, television, modeling, and bridal industries and has traveled extensively with the cast of Riverdance on their United States tour. For four years her "Monday Mid-day Makeover" segment on ABC television's affiliate in Northern California showcased her finely tuned skills in bringing out the "red carpet" best in men and women. Her experience, natural talent and uplifting personality combine to make her a top hair stylist, make-up artist and designer, always on the cutting edge of the profession. Laura holds three California licenses - cosmetologist, aesthetician, and manicurist and is also a certified spa therapist and paramedical make-up artist.

Laura's ability to inspire clients to make a positive change in their looks and lifestyles springs from her passion, her intelligence and her honesty. A single mother of two, she enjoyed a stimulating professional modeling career then in her 30's, she "let go". After struggling with weight, appearance, and self-esteem, she decided to take back control- to improve her appearance and confidence, recapturing her youth and vitality and celebrating the joy life has to offer. Her "fix the body, feed the mind" message and process of rejuvenation strikes a chord with her viewers and customers alike. Laura has come to represent the pathway for women of all ages struggling to once again feel good about themselves.
